When creating or editing a field in CRM 2013, we can specify the Description of the field much like in CRM 2011. However in CRM 2013 those descriptions are also displayed as a tooltip when users hover over a field label on a form. In CRM 2011, the Description on fields was rarely used, as it was only ever displayed when viewing the field from the customization side of things, but never to the end users.
